The Academy provides free coaching and training facilities to local youngsters age between 14 and 22 with the aim of giving them the opportunity to develop their skills and potentially play football professionally.

Mirage currently has over 60 youngsters who train and play regularly at the academy, many of whom travel from surrounding areas in order to take advantage of the expertise and facilities the club has to offer.

The Academy acts as a platform on which to provide footballing opportunities within Africa as well as abroad and to supports those players wishing to pursue a professional playing career.

• Developing working relationships with football clubs and FIFA licensed agents worldwide.

• Raising the profile of young African footballing talent throughout Africa and Europe.

• Arranging the successful transfer of Academy players to professional football clubs

• Establishing a pipeline of future opportunities including the offer of a European tour for the Academy and more trials at various professional clubs for the Academy youngsters.

• Successful promotion of the Academy via newspaper articles reporting on our accomplishments as well as radio and TV coverage, an Academy website, Twitter account and YouTube channel.
